The Running Tiger patch represents our school as well as our lineage. In 2003, Great Grandmaster Castro formally awarded David Meyer the dance, Running Tiger. The fist, characterized as mountains, is Great Grandmaster’s logo and also represents his dance, Mountain Meets River. The lightening bolt represents Great Great Grandmaster, William Kwai Sun “Thunderbolt” Chow and the eagle represents Sibok Joseph Chacon, Eagle Talon.

I was worried, very worried, about being able to do a martial art, but after only one class I knew I had found the right place. Running Tiger is a relaxed, warm and friendly environment where I could go at my own pace, and build slowly. I'm hooked, and loving it. - A.J., age 42 |
